Reza Khan — Consultant

Md. Abul Bashar Khan Reza has more than fourteen years of working experience in the social development field, which includes health, education, child protection, participatory action research, social exclusion, and community-led initiatives in Bangladesh. The major areas of his expertise were organizing vulnerable community self-help groups, documenting the field data, taking detailed observation notes, detailed record keeping of different meetings and events, conducting participatory learning and action process using participatory tools and techniques involving children and community people, and facilitating in designing local-level plan of actions. He is experienced in monitoring and supervising the project and data analysis. He has adequate knowledge of safeguarding, rights-based approach, case management process, and risk assessment of the vulnerable children and young adults.  

Mr. Khan has more than fourteen years of working experience in community mobilization, organizing vulnerable community self-help groups, people-centered advocacy initiatives, and networking with national and local level NGOs, including civil society groups. He has adequate knowledge on safeguarding, rights-based approach, case management process, and risk assessment of the vulnerable children and young adults.  He has experience working with different national and international development partners such as, FCDO-UKAID, Big Lottery Fund, ChildHope UK, Consortium of Street Children UK, Jersey Fund, Global Fund, Concern Worldwide, em[Power] USA, Manusher Jonno Foundation, Grambangla Unnayan Committee, and OSHE Bangladesh. 

Md. Abul Bashar Khan Reza has obtained his Master of Arts degree in History and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and has expertise in MS Office, SPSS, ATLAS-ti, and the Internet. He also has expertise in using audio-visual equipment.
