Saifuz Zaman — Consultant

Md. Saifuzzaman has worked as a teacher trainer and Early Childhood Development (ECD) expert in training design, material development, and execution, monitoring, and evaluation for the last 20 years in the field of education. Saifuzzaman obtained a Bachelor of Education degree in 2002 and a Master of Education degree in 2003 from the University of Dhaka (Bangladeshi University).

Saifuzzaman has achieved some expertise, knowledge, and skills in training material development, training plan, training delivery, CED education, reading materials for children and as well as teachers, parents, and curriculum. Saifuzzaman also has some expert knowledge on research, especially action research design, data collection tools development, and training on the tools and methods. Saifuzzaman has other professional abilities, including managing non-profit education development projects; organizing and conducting workshops; training, knowledge captures, and article writing on social and educational issues. Saifuzzama is promoting ethics and moral education at the school level since 2017, and he is also a member of the ethics Olympiad organizer committee of Bangladesh, arranged by Darul Irfan Research Institute, Faticsori, Chattorgram.    

Mr. Zaman has been serving as a social development worker and researcher in Bangladesh since 2003. During his tenure, he has served many national and international non-profit organizations in many roles, such as Research Initiatives, Bangladesh (RIB), Dnet, Spreeha Bangladesh Foundation (SBF), Dhaka Ahsania Mission, Bureau of Non-Formal Education (BNFE), Institute of Education and Research (IER), Global Network of Women Peacebuilders (GNWP), New York,and Sesame Workshop Bangladesh. He is the founder and Director of Ischebari. Ischebari is an initiative that is working to develop class facilitation skills for private school teachers. Its motto is “We are not taught but motivated to learn”.

As a researcher, he did many research works with well reputed government and non-profit organizations in Bangladesh such as Research Initiatives Bangladesh (RIB), Ethis Education for Sustainable Development (E2SD), Sesame Workshop Bangladesh (SWB), Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED), under the Ministry of Planning, Government of Bangladesh, National Academy and Educational Management (NAEM) under the Ministry of Education, Government of Bangladesh. Saifuzzaman has published many articles in Bangladeshi daily newspapers such as The Daily Prothoalo, The Daily Samakal, The Jugantor, and NAME research journals.
